Insomnia and Circadian Rhythm Disorders

Insomnia is a sleep disorder that is characterized by difficulty falling and/or staying asleep. The Persons with insomnia have one or more of the following: Difficulty falling asleep or Waking up often during the night and having trouble going back to sleep, Waking up too early in the morning, Feeling tired upon waking. There are two types of insomnia: primary insomnia and secondary insomnia. Circadian Rhythm disorders are defined as Disturbances in circadian rhythm, 24-hour cycles that are endogenously generated by an organism can be categorized into 2 main groups: transient disorders and chronic disorders. Insomnia is defined as difficulty initiating or maintaining sleep.
